Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley
The private 5 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will begin with a pick-up from your chosen address in Marrakech by your private driver/guide at 08 a.m. Have a nice drive through the impressive Atlas Mountains over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) with Berber Villages along the river offering opportunities for memorable shots.
After having a guided walking tour of the UNESCO Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, which consists of striking Kasbahs (fortresses) forming a perfect example of the unique Berber architecture. Continue on the track to the Dades Valley where we will spend our first night in a comfortable and charming Riad/hotel.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Merzouga Desert
After having a healthy breakfast in your Riad/hotel, your 5 days Marrakech itinerary will lead us to the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi passing by the impressive Todra Gorge (canyon) where you will include a soft hike. Have lunch somewhere near Tinejdad and continue on the track to the desert.
Leave the car and go on a camel trek for the sunset view before getting to our luxury desert camp where you will enjoy a nice dinner in a romantic setting before spending the night in your ensuite private tent.

Day 3: Explore the Desert Area
Early wake up in the morning to enjoy the miraculous of the sunrise atop the golden dunes. After a healthy breakfast, you will devote most of the day exploring the desert area including a short break at the palm oasis where you can learn about the ancient system of irrigation known as “Khettaras”.
Drive through the Merzouga village to Khamlia before having a tour around the dunes to share a mint with a nomad family that lives in a tent offering an ideal opportunity to learn about their unique way of life.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Nkob - Ouarzazate
